Our commitment: zero-access encryption

BlockProve was designed around one core principle: we cannot read your files. This policy describes the data processed to run the service, on the website and in the BlockProve apps.

Zero-access architecture

All AES-256-GCM encryption takes place locally on your device, before anything is sent to our servers. BlockProve only stores unreadable blocks of data. Your encryption keys never leave your device.

Data collected

  • Account: email address, phone number (SMS two-factor authentication), user identifier.
  • Your proofs (photos, videos, audio recordings, documents, web captures) and their titles: only end-to-end encrypted, on our servers and on the Arweave blockchain. We cannot read them.
  • Precise location: only if you allow it, included in the proof and encrypted with it.
  • Billing: BPV credit balance, purchases and subscription, Stripe payment metadata (amount, date). Your card details are processed by Stripe, never by BlockProve.
  • Timestamping: only the fingerprint (hash) of each proof is sent to the qualified trust service provider, without the file or your identity.

This data is used only to provide the service (account, security, certification, billing). We use no advertising, tracking or audience measurement tools, and we neither sell nor share your data.

Retention period

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. When the account is deleted, it is erased, except accounting records (10 years, legal obligation) and proofs already anchored on the blockchain, which are permanent by nature, encrypted and contain no identity data.

Processors

Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting), Stripe (payment), Lleida.net (qualified eIDAS timestamping) and the Arweave network (permanent storage of encrypted proofs).

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase and object. You can delete your account in the app or from the Delete my account page. To exercise your other rights: contact@blockprove.me
